The Board considered a report from the Governance Manager. The report was taken as read. The Community Board (including appointed Councillors) made and attested their declarations together. Following this they each signed two copies of the declaration which was witnessed by the Chief Executive Officer. |

Resolution K22-IN.1 Moved: Member N Mayo Seconded: Member J Clements 1. That the Governance Managers report dated 7 November 2022 titled ‘Election of Chairperson for the Katikati Community Board’ be received. |

Resolution K22-IN.2 Moved: Member J Clements Seconded: Member N Mayo 2. That in accordance with Clause 25(4), Schedule 7 of the LGA 2002, the Katikati Community Board adopts System B for the election of the Chairperson. |

Resolution K22-IN.3 Moved: Member N Mayo Seconded: Cr A Henry 3. That the Katikati Community Board elects Member John Clements as the Chairperson of the Katikati Community Board. |

Resolution K22-IN.5 Moved: Member N Mayo Seconded: Chairperson J Clements 2. That in accordance with Clause 25(4), Schedule 7 of the LGA 2002 the Katikati Community Board adopts System B for the election of the Deputy Chairperson. |

That the Katikati Community Board notes that the Western Bay of Plenty District Council maintains a register of members interests pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities (Members’ Interests) Act 1968. 3. That the Katikati Community Board Members discloses any actual, potential or perceived interests they or their spouse/partner may have in relation to their dealings with the Western Bay of Plenty District Council and update their disclosures annually or as required. |

Resolution K22-IN.8 Moved: Cr A Henry Seconded: Deputy Chairperson N Mayo 1. That the Governance Manager’s report dated 7 November 2022, titled ‘Date of First Business Meeting of the Katikati Community Board 2022-2025 Triennium’ be received. 2. That pursuant to Clause 21(5)(d), Schedule 7 of the Local Government Act 2002, the first business meeting of the Katikati Community Board will be held on Wednesday 7 December 2022 at 7.00pm at The Centre Pātuki Manawa. |
